It's a wild mashup of musicians from different scenes in Chicago, all coming together to make a jazzy sound experiment ranging from mellow to raging.  | Music Room Session 12/29/09 @ The Chihak Place, LaCrescent, MNHere we've got an impromptu set with the Chihak brothers, a bass playin friend of theirs and myself. It's a dynamic quartet, going from merely a whisper to a full-out explosion. A dexterous, effects laden trumpet freak out in Chocolate Castles, a chilled-out valley of simmering energy in Velvet Express and some lovely guitar playing in Velveeta Espresso express make this worth a listen. |
