My 6300 was running fast. I cleaned the pots, no luck. Removed the bottom cover to discover there are ports that adjust the motor speed.One for 33 and one for 45. Slightly bigger than a flat head jewelers screwdriver. Speed is now bang on. Are those 880’s? I just swapped mine out for some monitor audios from cambridge england. Not sure if I like them better, they are very clean crisp detailed

My Dad bought one when it came out and I still use it today. Your article is spot on. Built to last. Full of Nichicon capacitors, with some ELNA’S and Panasonic’s thrown in there too. I’ve started recapping mine recently, in stages, to keep it going for another few decades. Some small values replaced with film caps since nowadays they are small enough to fit. It’s just getting better. The old caps still test great, at least their capacitance, I don’t have an ESR meter. Just a neat, good sounding quality amp. Thanks for the scans of the literature, very cool!

Every evening I sit down and plan to play for a hour or so and find that three in fact have passed.

I only have it on the PS4 at the moment but plan to get it on the PC on my birthday whether it’s on sale or not just so that I can take some screenshots.

I’m a huge fan of the CTI label and of pretty much all the musicians on this wonderful album. Timeless music. What more can I say? Nothing, except thanks so much for posting the album jacket photos on here. I’m listening to the album yet again as I’m typing this. It just gets better and better with age.
