Dual mono design makes it rock solid. Used with wide array of speakers over many years and nothing seems to faze it. May not be most sonically pure but to get better back in the day you needed to spend a small fortune. At least for 1978. Although I have upgraded several times since then I keep the kenwood to remind me just how much fun I had during hi if heyday.
